So remember when MyLastDart said that Nerf would release XLR Trick Shot discs? My PR contact recently contacted me and said that in Fall 2013, Nerf would be releasing different colored XLR Discs to correspond with each blaster it comes with, and not Trick Shot discs. You can see a couple of different disk colors on the Vortex box art blaster above.
Usually Fall is the last season when Nerf releases their products. Could we see this technology that MyLastDart mentioned in the future? I guess it’s a possibility, but for 2013 I doubt it.

but i need trick shot discs for my pyragon. think of the spread if you loaded all types into same drum mag and slam fired it it would be a wall of discs dodging them would be hard

We’ll see what Nerf releases in the future. It seems like a solid idea to have different kinds of “trick shot disks”, and it doesn’t seem impossible to pull off.

Have they said what colors they will be releasing?

I saw green, red, blue, yellow, black deco on the blasters and boxes, so at least for the blasters they’ll have 5 different colored discs, PLUS the camo discs reported on earlier.
