Excitied for the 2014 Nerf Blasters? Here’s What Some of Them Look Like with Parts Swapped

Click the image for a bigger look

Reddit user Buster-99 recently shared this photo mockup on the Nerf Subreddit.

For Reddit. Playing around with some new blaster parts before the real things hit the store… I tried to keep these to scale for size comparison.

As you can see, he’s swapped parts and accessories out from the Zombie Strike Slingfire & Longshot CS-12, the Vortex Revonix360, and Elite Demolisher 2-In-1. I gotta say, that banana mag looks good on the Slingfire and Longshot, and the Revonix360 looks a lot better with a scope on it. However, the addition of the Longshot CS-12 scope on the Slingfire makes it too orange for my tastes.

Which combination above is your favorite?

A diagram showcasing the upcoming Zombie Strike Ripshop blaster

On the Nerf Malaysia Facebook group, a user posted this link to a Hasbro patent. In the patent, about 18 images also accompany it. We can already discover new information as to how the upcoming Zombie Strike Series Fusefire and Ripshot blasters operate just by glancing at the photos. Click here to once again see what the Fusefire & Ripshot will look like.

I haven’t had the time to try and dive through all the text, but just by looking at some of the images & diagrams that are in the patent, we can get a bit more of an understanding as to how the blasters work and what features they’ll have. Check out the rest of the post for most patent images of the Fusefire and Ripshot, as well as a bit of my analysis on them.

Nerf launches “Perfect Shot” Campaign with Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect, Nerf Blaster Edition

Nerf has launched the Perfect Shot campaign with trick shot specialists Dude Perfect. The commercials feature pretty much any Nerf blaster released this fall that isn’t in their Rebelle or Zombie Strike line. My personal favorite is “The Toss Up.” Screw accuracy, just launch darts.

Basic Nerf Night of Nerf Game Videos (April 27, 2013)

On a night in late April 2013, I met up with a group of friends at a park, and we played a few Nerf games. I you don’t check my Youtube channel too often, and you should because there’s a lot of good stuff on it, then here’s the 4 games that I recorded from that night.

Game 1 – Nerf War Siege The Fort (Offense) – A Vortex Diatron Attack (Vortex Diatron Gameplay)

This video is from a Nerf session that took place in April. I decided to use the Diatron here and see how it is.

Siege the Fort is a very simple game. There are two teams, attackers and defenders. The attacking team starts off with 2 or 3 people, and have one hit on them. When they are hit, they must go back and touch their spawn point to re-enter the game.

The defenders start off on the playground equipment or in a defensive position/area. They have 3 hits on them. When they are hit 3 times, they must go touch the respawn point, and then join the attacking team. The attacking team tries to convert all the defenders to attackers, and the defending team tries to stay alive as long as possible. You can edit the defender goal to have them try and survive a certain amount of time in order to give them a victory condition.

Game 2 – Siege the Fort (Defense) – Mid Game Blaster Switching (Firestrike, Retaliator, Raider)

I start off with the Firestrike, but switch off to the Retaliator, and then Raider to defend myself while trying to fix my friend’s blaster issues during the game. A bit on the hectic side for me personally, but it was quite the challenge!

Check out the rest of the post for the other two game videos from that night.

Basic Nerf Vortex Revonix360 Unboxing, Firing Test, Initial Thoughts & Stock Attachments Video

I got myself a Revonix360 as a promotional item today, amongst a few other things, so I decided to do an unboxing video for the it. I also did a firing test for the blaster, gave you my initial thoughts, and threw on some stock attachments for it to see which ones fix, or don’t fix. I’ll have photos of the blaster soon.

One of the new Zombie Strike products on display, the Strikeblade. Retail Price: $14.99 USD/Available: August 2013) Photo Credit to Naazrael.

San Diego Comic Con 2013 just happened this past week, and apparently Nerf had their new Zombie Strike line there, featuring products that hadn’t yet been revealed at the time. Before I get around to the images, I have to thank naazrael of Reddit for posting some of the photos, and also Jet with her blog Blaster By My Side. was also there on hand to get a video overview of the products on display. If your not into photos, I recommend checking the video.

The New Zombie Strike Jolt Target Set. Retail Price: $9.99 USD/Available: Spring 2014)

We get a photo of the actual physical product for the Zombie Strike Target Set. It’s a recolored/repaint Jolt, so Nerf fans with the Jolt already might want to pass to on it.

Do you see that skull design and the items in the box with the plastic see through? The skull design is a the bandanna that Nerf will be selling, and the item in the box is the Zombie Strike Starter Kit. The bandanna will be a Target exclusive, and will retail for $4.99 USD. The Zombie Strike Starter Kit comes with one Z-Bomb, one Zombie bandanna, and two Zombie Wristbands. The Zombie Strike Starter Kit retails for $14.99 USD.

The two photos above show off more new upcoming products. In the first one, something called “Z-Bombz” are pictured. Many people are speculating that their Nerf attempt to “replace” socks in Humans vs. Zombies. They come in about 5 different variants, what looks like a Grenade/bomb, Brick, a Sawblade a Football-like object, and a “Limited edition” grenade/bomb from the Zombie Strike Starter Kit.

A photo of the Holster on display that comes with the Sidestrike. Note the N-Strike Elite logos on both the holster and Sidestrike. Did these start off as Elite products, before making their way into the Zombie Strike line?

Those are pretty much all the new products for us to see at the moment. If you want, I’ve also embedded most of Naazreal’s and Jet’s photos below on blasters that have already been revealed, but I highly recommend checking out Jet’s recap post on her blog for more info.
