A 10 Month Basic Nerf Review on the Condor 7 Pocket Chest Rig

The Condor 7 Pocket Chest rig has served me well for a little over ten months. I picked it up in June 2012, and used it until around April 2013. I’ve reviewed it and talked a lot about it’s pros, but this 10 month review focuses more on it’s cons and smaller details. Click here to view my original review on this Chest Rig.

I also decided to try and supplement my commentary with video that I took out on the field. Click the time stamps for those featured clips.

Check the rest of the post for two Camarillo HvZ loadout videos I did featuring this chest rig, as well as a direction of where to buy this rig.

Campaign to Camarillo 2012: Step 6 – Prepping the Chest Rig (Video)

I have finally put up a video on my Nerf War and Humans vs. Zombies planned loadout for this summer’s upcoming game. Check out the video and then help me out if you can. I’m planning on carrying 6 18 dart clips, or 108 rounds of foam. Is that enough for the day long game of HvZ? Also I’m trying to think of something, or somethings, to put into the right chest rig pocket, but I’m not sure what to include. More socks, or numerous supplies such as my multimemter, a screwdriver, or even food or drink come to mind as well.

Also, according to one of the mods, if the blaster leaves a mark, or even worse a welt, they reverse the right to not allow the blaster for the game. My 12.4v Rayven doesn’t leave any marks, I’ve even tried firing tests on myself from 5 feet. Theres also a good chance that waivers are going to have to be signed, which is fine in my book. The mods still haven’t put that up yet, or the game rules. Hopefully they get them up in a week or two.

Get a little bit more comfortable with my blaster of choice for this game, the Rayven.
Work on Cardo, at least 3 times a week, for 25-30 minutes each.
Start collecting and counting bad socks.
Learn how to roll them up, if there is a proper technique.
Finishing reading the Art of War.
Get Spectre barrel from other storage site. Test grouping between Recon barrel and Spectre barrels.
Invite, and in some cases convince, friends to go.
Modify or improve Nerf Tac Vest and/or drop pouch loadout.
Sort good darts from bad darts. W & T Streamlines for the win, remember? E Streamlines are ok.
Possibly get different containers for good and bad darts?
Check which 18 dart drum clips rotate well, and which ones don’t.
Get a feel or find a way to track 18 dart clip usage.
(Most likely) buy GoPro Hero 2 camera and SD card to record footage of game.
Buy stronger voltage batteries, battery converter, case, charger, and multimeter from Chinese store (note to self, allow 3 to 4 weeks 3 to 8 weeks (usually 4) for shipping).

The Basic Nerf Condor 7 Pocket Chest Rig Review (Video)

The Condor 7 Pocket Chest rig was originally made for Airsoft usage, but in my review I show how one can easily use it for Nerf. I’ll also go over it’s features and finally give it a rating.
