Basic Nerf’s Indoor/Outdoor Church War Videos (6/23/13)

Indoor/Outdoor Nerf War TDM – RushRushRush (Game 1) (Stryfe Masterkey Gameplay)
Game 1 from this play session. I tried some new things like a Hit Point counter and player hit indicators so that you can hopefully follow along more easier. Please leave a comment telling me what you think about these things!

I’m back to uploading Nerf War videos folks. If your familiar with my videos, you’ll see this is the same church that I’ve played in before. But it’s a little different from my previous games/videos because in these, for the first time ever, I’ve opened up some of the doors. This allows for another dimension to the game, since there’s both inside and outside.

This was my last session of games in which the Stryfe Masterkey was my main primary blaster, so look out for plenty of Rapidstrike gameplay in the future. Also, this was the day after I had received my Mega Centurion blaster sample, so look out for a bit of gameplay with it in the videos below.

I’m Back To Uploading Nerf War Game Videos, But I Need Your Input

Indoor/Outdoor Nerf War TDM – RushRushRush (Game 1) (Stryfe Masterkey Gameplay)

Well I’m back uploading Nerf War videos on my Youtube channel now, and I’m trying new things in order for my viewers to follow along more easily. I’ve included Hit Markers/Indicators, which pop up on screen and let you know when I hit a player. They look a little something like the image below.

vlcsnap-2014-02-07-11h36m49s34

Also as you can see in the top left corner, I’ve included my own Hit Point counter to let you know how many hits I’ve taken, and how many I have left until I’m out. In games like Team Deathmatch, or games where it takes you multiple hits to get out, keeping track of your hits is an important thing. In the video below, the only change I’ve made is that the hit point/life counter only appears when I take a hit.

Do you like it with the Counter always being in the video, like in the top one? Or only have it appear once I take a hit, such as in the bottom video? If you could take the time to comment on this post, or any of those two videos, it would be very much appreciated.

Also, I have more game play videos from that play session, including 2 Elite Alpha Trooper games, and a little bit of Mega Centurion game play as well.

The 5 Best Nerf Deals from Amazon (November 2, 2013)

Amazon and the people/companies selling some Nerf items recently lowered the price on a lot of Nerf item listings. Here’s hit the jump for the top five deals in my opinion. Amazon also seems to have a lot of Nerf items eligible for free shipping if you total purchases equal $35 or more. You can check my Sales & Deals page for more good Amazon sales, or to check other store sales as well.
But keep reading below to see the top five Amazon Nerf deals at the moment.

White Elite Rough Cut Explained, while possible New Red/Orange Elite Stryfe Spotted

The newly spotted “Red” Stryfe, alongside the other recently leaked White Rough Cut.

Recently, a possible new Red Stryfe has been spotted on Baidu. The quality of the photo isn’t the best though, and many are questioning the possible color of this leaked photo. The photo seems to give off a Red/Pink color scheme, but again the photo is on the grainy side. I’m personally thinking that the Stryfe could be an orange color, and that the concentrated amount of it, as well as the low light, is giving the camera a deceiving look. The orange on the White Elite Rough Cut is looking like Red/Pink as well in some areas. This is the main reason as to why I think this newly seen Stryfe is an Orange color.

It also seems like we’ve gotten a bit of official confirmation from Hasbro Australia that the White Rough Cut will be a Target exclusive in Australia. It will “most likely” be a Target USA Exclusive as well.

Introducing the Stryfe Mission Kit, only at Kohls

1175061_635043459853793_17071016_n

A few weeks ago, people on the net spotted the above special deal posted on the Kohls website. It’s being sold for $60 on the site, but is “on sale” for $47.99. Product description below.

Find your target from 75 feet away and complete your mission with this Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe CS-18 Mission Kit by Hasbro.

Product Features:
Blaster’s Acceleration Trigger powers up the motor for motorized blasting
Add more precision and control with the barrel extension, removable stock and Tactical Grip Handle
Reload fast with the Quick Reload Clip
Elite darts work with any Elite blaster and most N-Strike blasters (sold separately)
Blaster’s Tactical Rail is compatible with most N-Strike accessories (sold separately)

Product Details:
Kit includes: Stryfe CS-18 blaster, Quick Reload Clip, 18 Elite Darts, removable stock, barrel extension, tactical grip handle & instructions
Ages 8 years & up
Requires 4 “AA” batteries (not included)
Some assembly required

While the price is quite steep, it seems like a great starter kit of sorts for people new to Nerf. It also puts more accessories on the market, which most of us have wanted. The price seems fairly fair, since a Stryfe is $20, and a Retaliator is about $27 or $28. Those two things together already cover the price of this kit, but you get a Stockade stock, and 18 dart mag instead.

The Basic Nerf Elite Masterkey Battle Tested Video Review (w/Game Footage)

I’ll be having a write up review of this blaster coming in a few days as well, but for now here’s a video review on the Elite Masterkey I created. I must say, it’s quite the good blaster, and has quickly become my favorite. I’ve even included some clips from some mini HvZ games I’ve played in the review to show you how effective it is. Keep your eyes tuned to my Youtube channel and blog for gameplay in Nerf Wars and mini Humans vs. Zombies games with me using this as a primary.

Indoor Nerf War Session Recap Post (Photos & Videos) (Feb 17, 2013)

A group shot of the players, minus me, after the games.

So I know this posted is going up a bit late, but better later then never as some say. On this Sunday, I invited some friends over to play indoors at my church for some Nerf action. Plenty of close quarters fast paced action. I used the Elite Rayven and Stryfe through the day.

My first ever timelapse, Setting Up for a Day of Nerf

Here’s the gameplay videos that I got of the day and my input/mini commentary on each game.

TDM – 5 Outs & 3 Headshots (Elite Rayven 8.4v) (Game 1)

Our team gets great position early, and I manage to get 5 different people out, 3 of them on headshots. Our team didn’t get anyone out toooo early, and stayed pretty focused in staying alive and holding position.

TDM – Losing Position (Rayven 12.6v) (Game 1 Alternate Angle)

I strapped on my spare GoPro to an certain buddy of mine. She’s play in a couple of day long HvZ games, but never in a Nerf War. It’s interesting to see how composed she was, but she seemed to get a big case of tunnel vision and I manage to take advantage of an error of her’s to end the game.

Nerf War TDM – Staring Down the Enemy (Stryfe 8.4v) (Game 2)

I switch to the Stryfe for the next couple of games. We rush and grab a pivotal position, and then spit out a bunch of foam at the other team when they get out in the open. Indoor games can go downhill fast.
