My Public Relations contact over at Nerf sent over this some info today. The newest, and most interesting info, is info on the Vortex Revonix360 & N-Strike Blazin’ Bow. Both are coming Fall 2013. The Revonix360 almost sounds like a Pyragon. And the Stockade is revealed to be a Walmart exclusive in the info I was given. I’m guessing we’ll get more info and photos at the Toy Fair next week, so stay tuned to the blog for the latest Nerf news.
Feb 7, 2013 EDIT: It’s actually called the Blazin’ Bow, not the MEGA Blazin’ Bow. I’ve edited the product description with the correct one, and removed the image to avoid confusion. The new description removes the description of a compound design, and also changes or removes the description of the MEGA arrows, and just calls them Nerf arrows.

Doesn’t the Vortex Revonix 360 sound just like the Pyragon. 70ft Range (which the Pyragon can already acheive), Slam Fire, Revolving Drum (40 Round Drum?), $40. Sound like the same thing, maybe the Alpha Trooper of the Vortex Series (like how the Pyragon is the Raider version of the series). This better be good.

It’s not gonna be like the Pyragon. “new, awesome deco” and a “revolving drum that rotates each time you fire the blaster.”? That sounds nothing like the Pyragon. It merely caries some logical similar features–large capacity and slamfire.

finally the stockade! the vortex blaster sounds similar to the pyragon, it could however have a drum that rotates like a maverick but i doubt it.

That’s funny, at Walmart up in Canada here, we already have the stockade and all the others including the jolt and reflex repaints.

Either a Vortex Alpha Trooper, or Vortex Elite. We do have a new Elite Firefly Clip (by the looks of it.) But I thought the Pyragon and Diatron (and maybe Lumitron0 were basically Elite Vortex. I wonder. We gotta find a picture.

My first thought was like a maverick but with a bigger drum. Almost like a multi- grenade launcher look. Very excited

That idea kinda makes sense. My first thought was, why does the drum need to rotate each time? It its something like a Pyragon drum but revolving after each shot, that wouldn’t make too much sense.
IDK, I’m still lost. Hopefully we’ll see something from toy fair next week.

Or like a tommy gun. Thing pyragon but the drum mag is turned parallel to the gun and locks in. It would be sweet if the drum came out and you could replace with others when empty. Im still going with the grenade

@Dustin That would make sense, I can see where your coming from.
However, if the Revonix360 is 30 disks capacity or larger, loading it would be a bit of a pain.

Yes I think it would, If this has a rotating piece similar to a maverick I would expect how it works is by having 6 locations holding 5 disks each and rotate around after each shot. I would think the bottom disk of each piece would be the one to be fired off and load down onto a torsion spring, it could however be reversed and be the top disk and load upwards like a vigilon. If it has this cylinder the next disk will be the most inner of each section. I think the best comparison of a loading style like this would be the powerstrike 48 which has 12 barrels with 4 darts in each and it rotates after each fire. This would be a pain to reload because if would be like reloading a vigilon 6 times but it would be one hell of a cool looking and working blaster.
